DHMSCare vs Nanoprecise or Petasense: what is the difference?
DHMSCare, Nanoprecise and Petasense all combine wireless sensors with cloud analytics; DHMSCare offers its own AI agent, Mina, 90-second self-serve deployment, no implementation fee and cloud in your country or region. The sensors themselves measure different things, so check those first.
What each sensor measures
Nanoprecise's MachineDoctor sensor measures triaxial vibration, acoustic emission, temperature, RPM, humidity and magnetic flux.
Acoustic emission means very high-frequency stress waves, usually above 20 kHz, that a material gives off when a crack grows or surfaces rub. Petasense's Vibration Mote measures triaxial vibration, temperature and running speed, and it connects through Wi-Fi.
DHMSCare sensors measure vibration and temperature, and the DS320, DS321, DS400 and DS420 add rotating speed. They do not capture ultrasound, motor current or magnetic flux, and they do not measure acoustic emission or humidity.
How the data travels
DHMSCare sensors do not join your plant Wi-Fi. They send readings to a DHMSCare gateway by industrial-grade Bluetooth 5.0 Class 1, typically 60–80 m inside a plant. The gateway then uplinks through Ethernet, Wi-Fi or 4G, depending on the model.
Because the sensors run on batteries, no cable has to run to each machine.
What you get from the platform
Mina, the industrial AI agent, writes up each fault in everyday language, with the parts to check and the repair to make. It works in 11 languages, which helps plants whose teams read different languages. AI fault diagnosis holds at 85%+, and multi-expert review lifts that 85%+ base to 90%+.
Deployment is self-serve and takes 90 seconds. The platform runs in the cloud in your own country or region by default, and on-premises deployment is offered on request.

Questions buyers also ask
Does DHMSCare measure machine speed?
Yes, on four models. The DS320, DS321, DS400 and DS420 measure rotating speed and detect when a machine starts or stops.
Do we have to let the sensors onto our IT network?
No. The sensors talk only to the DHMSCare gateway. The gateway makes outbound connections only, so no inbound firewall ports need to be opened.
Can Mina answer in our own language?
Mina works in 11 languages. Ask us which ones fit your plant teams.
