DHMSCare vs Augury: what is the difference?

Book a Demo
Short answer

DHMSCare and Augury both monitor machine health with wireless sensors and AI; DHMSCare sensors measure vibration and temperature, and DHMSCare offers 90-second self-serve deployment, no implementation fee and cloud in your country or region. Below are the public facts on each, side by side.

What Augury publishes

Augury's Halo R4000 sensors capture triaxial vibration, temperature and magnetic flux, and they are rated IP66, IP68 and IP69. Augury delivers its service as "Machine Health as a service", an end-to-end offering. For very slow machines such as rotary kilns, Augury names a separate Halo U2000 ultrasound sensor.

Augury does not publish a sensor-to-gateway distance. If radio range matters on your site, ask Augury for its figure directly.

What DHMSCare measures

DHMSCare sensors measure three-axis vibration and surface temperature. The DS320, DS321, DS400 and DS420 also measure rotating speed. Ultrasound, motor current and magnetic flux are outside what they capture, so a flux-based check is not part of what DHMSCare offers.

Every DS sensor is rated IP69, the highest rating against dust and high-pressure water. The DS310 covers 0–6000 Hz, and the DS400 covers 0–8000 Hz. For a slow drive, share its shaft speed and we will check the sensor fit first.

How the two services feel in daily use

With DHMSCare, every machine gets its own reference, a baseline learned from that machine's readings. Mina, the industrial AI agent, then explains each alert in plain words and lists what to inspect and fix. Measured on real plants, the accuracy of DHMSCare alerts is 90%+.

Deployment is self-serve and takes 90 seconds. By default the platform runs in the cloud in your own country or region, and on-premises deployment is available on request.

How to decide

Pick the sensing your machines need first. If magnetic flux or ultrasound is a must on a given machine, Augury publishes both. If vibration and temperature cover your motors, pumps, fans and gearboxes, DHMSCare gives a fast, low-entry start.

Questions buyers also ask

Does DHMSCare sell its service as a subscription?

Yes. Sensors and gateways are bought as hardware, and the software is an annual subscription per sensor. Each plant gets its own quote.

Can DHMSCare monitor slow machines like kilns?

It depends on the shaft speed, so tell us that first. We then confirm which sensor model fits before you order, rather than promise a fixed lowest speed.

Who reads the alerts if we have no analyst?

Mina reads them for you. It states the likely fault and the next maintenance step in plain words.
