What are the best alternatives to Tractian or Augury?

Short answer

DHMSCare is an alternative to Tractian and Augury: it pairs wireless vibration sensors with AI diagnosis and its own AI agent, Mina, with 90-second self-serve deployment and no implementation fee. It is built for rotating equipment such as motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes and compressors.

What buyers usually compare

Tractian and Augury are often the first names a buyer meets when looking for wireless machine monitoring.

Tractian's Smart Trac sensors capture vibration, ultrasound, temperature and magnetic field data, and they send it through LTE-M or NB-IoT cellular links. Augury's Halo sensors capture vibration, temperature and magnetic flux, and Augury sells the result as "Machine Health as a service".

DHMSCare sensors measure vibration and temperature, and the DS320, DS321, DS400 and DS420 also measure rotating speed. They do not capture ultrasound, motor current or magnetic flux. So start from what your machines need, rather than from the longest feature list.

How DHMSCare works

Each sensor mounts on the machine near the bearing and is bound to its measuring point with a tap of a phone. Industrial-grade Bluetooth 5.0 Class 1 carries the readings, typically 60–80 m to the gateway inside a plant. One gateway connects 60 sensors at most.

Mina, the industrial AI agent, reads the results for your team. It explains each fault in plain words and says what to inspect and what to fix. Your plant does not need its own vibration engineer to act on an alert.

What to expect on site

Self-serve deployment takes 90 seconds, and fitting the sensors needs no machine downtime. Your data runs in the cloud in your own country or region by default, with on-premises deployment on request.

In real plants, 90%+ of DHMSCare alerts are accurate, and AI fault diagnosis holds at 85%+. At one coal-fired power plant, the team reported that unplanned shutdowns fell by 65%, from 5.6 to 2 a year.

Questions buyers also ask

Does DHMSCare need our plant Wi-Fi?

No. The DG311 gateway connects through 4G or Ethernet, so a site without plant Wi-Fi can still send its data. The DG310 uses Ethernet or Wi-Fi instead.

How small can we start?

You can start on one production line with ten sensors and one gateway. Add lines one by one once the first results are in.

Where is our machine data kept?

By default, DHMSCare runs in the cloud in the country or region where your plant is. On-premises deployment is available on request.
